TEDx Open Applications Roundup 6/5 + Celebrating Community Wins
One of my favorite emails to receive starts with: “I made it to the next round.”
Or even better: “I got the TEDx.”
Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard from multiple members of this community who have advanced to TEDx interviews, moved into finalist rounds, and even officially landed TEDx stages.
I’ll share a few of those messages below because I think it’s important to celebrate the wins. TEDx can feel like a black box sometimes, and it’s easy to assume everyone else has some secret advantage.
But from what I’ve seen, the people who move forward aren’t necessarily the most famous, the most experienced speakers, or the people with the biggest platforms.
They’re the people who keep refining their ideas, learning how TEDx works, and continuing to put themselves forward.

If you’ve been applying and haven’t heard back yet, don’t get discouraged! Yes, its a competitive process but there is a stage for your idea!
