TEDxRobinsonRoad is hosting its inaugural TEDx event!
The theme is “The Next Chapter”! Personally, I love this theme as it is perfect for so many of your ideas!
If you’ve been living inside a transition, ending something significant, or stepping into a new way of thinking that others can learn from, this stage is worth a look.

The Next Chapter is about what happens after something ends.
A belief. A system. A career. A role. A way of seeing the world.
They’re looking for one clear idea rooted in experience or insight that helps others move forward with purpose.
An idea that matters right now.

This is a DFW-based stage with a strong community focus.

Speakers who are open to coaching and TEDx guidelines

What the application asks
You’ll be asked to reflect on things most applications don’t ask this directly, including:
The ONE idea you want to share
How it represents The Next Chapter
What chapter you had to close to arrive at this idea
Who the idea is for and what problem it helps solve
What you want the audience to think, feel, or do differently
You’ll also need to submit a 1–3 minute video explaining your idea.

What did you see or learn once it ended?
What’s the idea others can carry into their own next chapter?
If you’re mostly talking about yourself, zoom out one layer.
If you’re only talking about theory, zoom back into lived insight.
